Good piece of news for Nihal's behalf.

Does anyone know if Matthew's marriage has already happened? Would make perfect sense for the honeymoon to take place when the show gets back on air.

I think this is the way Nihals career is going though. I can imagine him on 5 live in the not so distant future. Iv got a feeling he is to "topical" for the direction Radio 1 want to take at the moment and 5 live phone ins would be perfect for his style.

I have to say I'm not a fan of critisising people for their children's TV background. They should be judged on their merits as a Radio presenter, to entertain and music knowledge, like every other R1 DJ. I honestly don't care what there former job is.

i'm a massive fan of doing it, because their radio show usually ends up dull. it was easy to get fearne and reggie, because they were already within the bbc. easier than going elsewhere for the talent, like when they got moyles from capital.
