Who is Laura?

Laura Sayers is the Assistant Producer on The Scott Mills Show in the afternoon. Her birthday is the 11th October and is off of York. She's the member of the team who is prepared to go where the others don't. Laura has dressed up as a man, tried to get an ASBO and scared members of the public with her megaphone - all in the name of Radio. 23rd July 1993
Laura had seen Jamie the night before at the Youth Club and had a netball match where she, and the team, lost 22-0.

28th August 1993
Laura had a dream about Jamie the night before, and was day dreaming about him, and was hoping he'd like her. Every time she heard 'Boom Shake The Room' she thought of Jamie. She'd worked out she was 88% compatible with him, equivalent to a marriage.

14th September 1993
Laura had skived swimming, got told off by her music teacher, and two girls were sent home for experimenting with cannabis. Laura got nervous because she thought Jamie was going to kiss her, and was 'so trendy' because he was wearing Lynx. She was fined by her father for not untying her shoe laces, but did get some pocket money from her grandparents.

20th September 1993
Laura had looked up Jamie's phone number and address in the phone book, she was hoping to see him after hockey practise on a Friday, and he wasn't returning her calls. She's hoping he likes her, her trip to Megabowl had been cancelled, and she'd just seen Quantum Leap. Her friend Lucy was in a mood with her, and she couldn't go to youth club because she was grounded for leaving her lamp on during daylight. She'd not seen Jamie in 3 days and she'd been thinking about him all night.

29th September 1993
Laura got her hair cut, and Jamie was 'turning his feelings off and on like a light'. She was then talking sweets about at her youth club, and Mary being annoying and ginger.

30th September 1993
Laura got an A in her technology project. The party didn’t go according to plan – Sarah got hammered and was sick everywhere! Jamie didn’t talk to Laura for the whole night and cried in the toilet. However, Andy was her saviour and they eventually got off on a bridge. Can you love two people at the same time? Andy or Jamie – Andy or Jamie?

12th October 1993
She had a part in the school play - James and the Giant Peach. She went to youth club, and Jamie and Andy were there. Sarah was mean to her for wearing a body top as she said it looked tarty. She played spin the bottle upstairs, but then Norma came upstairs and took the bottle away, and for this Laura called her a cow. She's so confused over which one to choose.

14th October 1993
She sprained her wrist in hockey, her chain came off her bike and she believed this was fate - she went the long way round. She went to the shop before passing Jamie's house for a second time. She looked everywhere but couldn't see the boys - Jamie or Andy. Her dad fined her a week's pocket money for leaving the hairdryer plugged in.

16th October 1993
She was feeling ill, her friend Becky paid her £2 back, and she's decided she loved Jamie. She kept putting on 'boom shake the room' on in her room, and was trying to picture Jamie's face, but really needed a photograph. She couldn't remember his eyes and nose. She was worried she wasn't good enough for him. She went to bed early as her dad's friend from Canada was staying there and she didn't like him.

24th October 1993
Laura had a lot going on. She was at a 'sleep out' raising money for charity at the youth club. She ended up sleeping next to Jamie, and Jamie begun holding Laura's hand. They begun hugging and he put his arm around her. Lisa was teasing them, before he told her to shut up, and they got closer. Then 'he came in my box' - it was the best night of her life.

30th October 1993
Went to the dentist had her braces tightened up. Everyone at school is sick of her talking about Jamie and she doesn’t know if she should go out with Andy because he only lives 3 minutes away. Laura also made a compatibility table with all the names of the guys and they are all given points for their talkability, hugability, snogability and a few others. Jamie only got one for talk ability...
