Scott and Chappers tackle the impossible cinnamon challenge, then launch a brand-new feature to hunt down the UK’s biggest gossip – and Danny from McFly drops by with embarrassing stories from a ghost-hunting show.
The show opens with Scott revealing a supposed medical fact: it’s impossible to eat a teaspoon of cinnamon. After some reluctance, both Scott and Chappers attempt the challenge, predictably failing as the cinnamon coats their mouths and makes speech impossible – exactly as the theory suggests.
The centrepiece is the launch of “Loose Lips,” a new feature designed to find the world’s biggest gossip. A caller named Paula nominates her best friend Beccy and her husband Robert as chronic gossips who can’t keep secrets. Scott decides to test this by having Paula call Beccy with a fake story: that Paula and her husband have had a massive row and cancelled their Kenya holiday. Beccy bites immediately, asks probing questions, and within seconds calls another friend to spread the news. When another friend rings Beccy to test her further, she spills everything – all details intact – in just 22 seconds. Beccy eventually admits defeat and accepts her crown as the world’s biggest gossip.
Danny from McFly then calls in, and after some cheeky banter about being called a girl (they appeared on a ghost-hunting show on ITV2 the night before), he recounts the moment Dougie lost his helmet in a coal mine and panicked, swearing heavily throughout. Scott plays a clip of the incident, then promotes the “no cussing club” – a campaign encouraging people not to swear.
The show closes with Scott’s custom love song service: he’s ordered a personalised romantic song about Chappers from songforsomeone.com. Using details like “physical,” Manchester United, hopes of having his own radio show, and his sense of humour, the service produces a surprisingly earnest (if slightly absurd) ballad that moves Chappers to genuine emotion – at least until he has to head to work.
