11 December 2007: The Sugababes Visit, Big Booby Cookie Challenge, and Kate Lawler’s Noisy Studio

The Sugababes drop by to chat about accidentally splitting up during an interview in Japan, while Scott launches the ridiculous “Big Booby Cookie” challenge with a volunteer named Fran—and keeps getting distracted by Kate Lawler making noise in the next studio.

This episode opens with Scott introducing the “Big Booby Cookie” experiment—a supposedly breast-enhancing biscuit from Japan that he’s been trying to source for weeks. He plays back his failed attempts to order them over the phone, including a comical conversation with a takeaway restaurant where neither party understands what he’s asking for. A listener named Yoki from Japan eventually sends them in.

Scott recruits a volunteer named Fran (a friend of someone in the office) to test the cookies. A professional from an underwear shop measures her beforehand, confirming she’s a 32D. The team makes bets on what size she’ll reach after eating the cookies—Scott predicts she’ll stay the same, while others guess 32E or higher. Fran eats one cookie and reports her throat feels tingly.

The Sugababes arrive midway through, and Scott tries to get them to help resolve the ongoing noise disturbance from Kate Lawler’s studio next door. He’s already asked multiple times for it to be turned down; now he attempts to recruit Heidi to use her fame to request it. She eventually goes in and apparently succeeds—though the music returns later. The band confirms they’re listening to the show.

Scott discusses their careers and asks them about touring Japan. The conversation turns to the story of how they split up in the middle of an interview in Japan—one member (Siobhan) apparently quit mid-interview and walked out. They laugh about it now, though suspect it may have damaged their reputation in Japan.

Scott then plays some deliberately bad song suggestions he’s written for Same Difference (the young brother-sister duo from The X Factor), including hilarious mashups. The Sugababes react with horror and amusement.

Near the end, Scott asks the Sugababes for relationship advice about his Polish cleaner who may have feelings for him after he comforted her about a breakup. They advise him to invite her to Christmas as a friend, which he decides to do.

The episode closes with flirtvert messages, including one involving a snooker ball in someone’s van.
