26 March 2008: Matt Willis, the Twodaloo, and Bob’s Broly

Matt Willis drops in for a chaotic show featuring Scott’s latest bizarre invention (the Twodaloo—a double toilet for couples), a campaign to win a Bob Crampton umbrella from ITV West, and Matt taking to the streets with a megaphone to deliver some genuinely funny sketches.

Matt Willis arrives early and becomes the catalyst for one of the show’s most absurd invention segments. Scott introduces the Twodaloo, a dual-toilet device designed for couples who want to use the bathroom simultaneously, with an optional upgraded model featuring an iPod dock and TV. Matt plays along gamely, though the whole thing descends into toilet humour and logistics debates about what you’d actually do while sitting side-by-side. Scott then pivots to his genuine quest for a Bob Crampton brolly—the coveted umbrella given away by ITV West’s weather presenter Bob to viewers who send in good photos of local weather. A caller phones in with proof he’s already won one, confirming they exist and that your photo gets featured on the weather broadcast. Scott is determined to send one in.

Matt also discusses his recent appearance on Loose Women, admitting he found it intimidating sitting at the table with four women but that they were actually nice to him and gave him a goodie bag. The conversation touches on guest names and various loose observations about the panellists.

The show’s highlight comes when Matt heads onto the streets with a megaphone to deliver Jeremy Kyle-style sketches and offers of “free kisses,” getting genuinely positive responses from some members of the public. Back in the studio, Chappers delivers a lengthy rant about Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport, complaining about strict hand-luggage rules that confiscated his half-empty shampoo bottle and hair wax, while inexplicably allowing him to carry a razor through security.
