Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon joined Scott to promote the Gavin & Stacey Comic Relief single.
The recording included the cast performing material connected with Islands in the Stream, alongside extra tracks featuring Bryn and Nessa.
Ruth said she did not fancy James Corden because he was thirteen years younger and felt more like a little brother. A 19-year-old caller disagreed and said she did fancy him.
Another caller planned to dress as Nessa for Comic Relief. Ruth advised dark lipstick, earrings, fishnets, a black T-shirt, the tattoo and saying “Oh” without smiling.
The fishing trip
Rob described a taxi driver who had misunderstood the show’s long-running fishing-trip mystery as “the fish and chips”.
Neither Rob nor Ruth explained what happened between Bryn and Jason. They said revealing it would spoil the joke and confirmed only that it was not sexual.
Unofficial Mills
Scott asked Rob to record a message for unofficialmills.co.uk.
Brydon complained that the programme used “What’s occurring?” every day without paying him and demanded that Scott donate heavily to Comic Relief.
He then said: “Oh, Unofficial Mills, what’s occurring?” and asked every site user to buy or download the single.

The day’s game used recent television and public challenges.
One round involved a conga-style dance known as the “Selena Gomezer”, while another asked people for their favourite books. Harry Potter, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Victoria Beckham’s autobiography and several half-remembered novels were suggested.
