Scott and Beccy began with the fallout from a night in Warrington, where a listener called Janet was worried she may have been too enthusiastic while Scott was DJing. The team assured her that she had not needed to be removed, although they were happy to let her worry about it a little longer.

Richard Armitage arrived to talk about Strike Back, the new Sky1 drama, and discovered that the show had already been discussing a distinctly less glamorous subject. After seeing a television programme about Tonga, Scott had been revisiting the show’s earlier experiment with a ‘sausage-roll roll’, made from a sausage roll, cheese and mayonnaise in a white wrap.

The deliberately unhealthy snack became the day’s running joke, with Scott maintaining that it was very tasty but best treated as an occasional indulgence. Richard’s appearance gave the programme a proper television guest, even if the food discussion remained its most persistent concern.
