Scott’s World Cup party
Scott claimed to hold a World Cup party every year and assembled a very convincing guest list to support the claim. The Baseballs, Jake Humphrey, Tim Minchin, Jack Whitehall, Diana Vickers, Eliza Doolittle, Nick Knowles and Sabine all joined him, alongside competition winners Grant and Laura.
The programme captured the atmosphere around the game, even if Scott’s own understanding of football remained a recurring concern. It was a properly busy celebrity edition built around a match and the team’s determination to make the party sound enormous.
