8 December 2010: Grimmy played We Woof You a Merry Christmas

Christmas Dogs

Scott tackled the increasingly awkward Christmas “transfer window”, the period when listeners thought it was too harsh to end a relationship before Christmas but not yet safe to wait until the new year. A listener stuck on the motorway, Corrie’s Come Dine With Me special and Beccy’s enthusiasm for Miranda also kept the studio conversation moving.

Grimmy came in to promote his Festive Festival, but Scott made him join in with “We Woof You a Merry Christmas”, turning the carol into a deliberately ridiculous chorus of dog noises. The show also returned to Stupid Street and played its Silent Night/Black Eyed Peas mash-up, with Christmas music becoming ever more central to the programme.
