A Mariah Christmas
The show began with more nativity confusion, as one child moved from being a “leper” to a leopard and eventually a shepherd. Scott and Beccy talked about the increasingly unusual roles fitted into modern school plays, including a listener’s X Factor-themed nativity.
Beccy then unveiled Scott’s big Christmas present: a conversation with Mariah Carey. It was a major festive moment for Scott, who had made no secret of his love for her Christmas music, and the programme treated it as the centrepiece of the show.
There was also a report of Snoop Dogg appearing on Chatroulette, a Stupid Street search for the greatest Scottish person, and another edition of Dear Scott. The PR4L read listeners’ messages and emails in her own distinctive style.
