Dear Scott on Christmas Eve
Scott spent Christmas Eve answering listeners’ messages in Dear Scott, including the international fan mail that had arrived from Russia, Brazil and Austria. The show’s Christmas mood was briefly punctured by more complaints about stores dropping Slade’s “Merry Xmas Everybody”.
The PR4L supplied a best-of collection of her major moments, including her takes on R. Kelly’s “Ignition”, Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” and Another Level. Scott also brought back David Beckham’s fictional Christmas-album material.
The final Stupid Street of the run returned to Christmas presents for famous people, including the proposal that David Beckham should receive a goat. Scott also shared his favourite Newsbeat story of the year before the show signed off for Christmas.
