Scott investigates whether it’s physically possible to crush a tin can with the power of breasts alone, while also solving the mystery of a mysterious pair of black knickers found in the BBC Radio 1 corridor.
The show opens with the revelation of a pair of black size-14 knickers discovered in the Radio 1 corridor. Laura jokingly suggests they might belong to Kylie Minogue (who had recently visited the station), but the mystery deepens when Scott and the team consider how someone could have left them there. An announcement is made asking the owner to come forward, with the threat of a DNA test to identify them.
Scott then relates a story from a recent trip to Southampton with mates, during which one friend claimed his girlfriend could crush a tin can between her breasts. Skeptical, Scott invites callers to test the claim. Jen from Plumley calls in and successfully demonstrates the trick live on air, crushing a can while her dad listens from home—he’s apparently very proud. Rachel from the Charlie XCX show later reveals she’s the owner of the mystery knickers: they fell out of her clothes while she was rushing out of the radio station shower. Another caller, Dave from T-side, also attempts the can-crushing feat using his man boobs, successfully completing the challenge with varying degrees of success on each side.
The show also features an extended segment on songs that can’t be sung in your normal voice while singing along—including Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” Shakira, James Blunt, and a notably awkward attempt at doing a Dizzee Rascal impression, which Scott apologizes to his nan for attempting on air.
