Meat Pie Mandy
A friend of the programme had been approached to become “Meat Pie Mandy”, a female equivalent of promotional character Cream Cake Kevin. The proposed job involved arriving at workplaces, possibly in a bikini, and handing out meat pies while announcing her own name.
Scott became fascinated by the image and began performing the imagined entrance. The team questioned whether anybody had fully considered the combination of swimwear, office visits and warm meat products.
Beccy’s missing hot water
Beccy was several days into a broken-boiler problem and had not been able to take a normal shower. Scott repeatedly asked when she had last washed and treated the domestic inconvenience as a continuing hygiene emergency.
