The final Access All Areas day
Radio 1’s Access All Areas week ended after allowing online listeners to see the studio and hear conversations normally confined to the gaps between records.
Scott initially doubted that ordinary production chat would interest anybody, but viewers had followed the gossip, preparation and awkward moments as closely as the formal programme.
The week had included Meat Pie Mandy, Beccy’s presenting experiment, Scott’s first-show recordings and Timmy Trendy’s single campaign.

The team continued assessing the consequences of Bang on Trend and whether its exposure had turned Timmy into a genuine music figure rather than only a recurring fashion character.
