The Wolf of Worthing appears
During Breakfast cover, Scott and Chris discover Justin from First Dates, who introduces himself as the “Wolf of Worthing”. His talk of sports cars, superyachts and occasionally wishing for a normal life makes the self-appointed title impossible to ignore.
They later call James Arthur in bed before his Live Lounge. His early-morning voice sounds far removed from the one required at midday, but he promises it will recover in time for “Say You Won’t Let Go” and the planned cover.
Humans prove they are people
Gemma Chan and Emily Berrington explain Humans to a newly converted Scott. Their synth characters live in a parallel present where humanoid robots perform domestic work, although certain models have developed consciousness.
The pair demonstrate the unnervingly precise synth head turn and stare for the camera. Gemma also discusses the documentary How to Build a Human, in which scientists create a robotic version of her and attempt to pass it off as the real actor.
Honey G gets soaked
Honey G arrives from The X Factor house, where she has a bunk bed in a room of her own. She wants a record deal, global tours and a long rap career, and firmly rejects the idea that the glasses and persona will disappear after the competition.
Chris receives a Honey G makeover before the game, while Scott carefully cleans her trademark glasses. Clips about football, the crack of dawn, baked beans, weightlifting and a local landmark produce a sustained torrent of water, leaving both players and the famous glasses dripping.
