Chris returns from spring break
Chris was back from filming spring break in Cancún. He found the event more polished than expected in places, with wealthier American visitors and elaborate bottles arriving with sparklers, but Señor Frog’s delivered the full chaotic version he had imagined.
His return restored the proper Bangers contest after Scott had selected both records the previous day. Chris also caught up on Alice’s unresolved secret: she still had not told her housemates she had gone to the coast with her ex.
How do I stop ageing?
Matt Edmondson joined the Google Game. The unfinished question was “How do I stop…?” Chris suggested biting his nails, Matt chose hearing the same piece of a song repeatedly in his head, and Scott immediately focused on ageing.
Scott worried about waking up to find that his face had suddenly fallen, denied having had a facelift and announced that he was “not averse to a chemical peel”. Matt and Chris interrogated him about treatments, masks and even the vampire facial involving a person’s own blood.
The camera keeps watching
A huge television camera remained pointed through the studio glass. The red light had made Scott feel watched on Tuesday; now it had moved towards Greg James’s studio even though Greg was not there.
Scott also heard how different he sounded when appearing on Radio 2, adopting a smoother manner than his Radio 1 self.
