Francis gambled the whole weekend
Francis had won Radio 1’s Big Weekend tickets by remembering the competition password “curtains”. Scott offered her the chance to turn the prize into four weekend passes, but only if she trusted her friend Lacey to answer a later phone call using the same word.
Lacey answered normally.
Francis therefore lost everything. The failure was made even more painful by the discovery that Lacey already had tickets of her own, leaving Francis as the only person harmed by the gamble.
Lucie Jones prepared for Eurovision with water
Eurovision representative Lucie Jones joined Matt Edmondson for Innuendo Bingo as her trip to Kyiv approached.
The clips included a Sunday Brunch discussion involving jam, sauce and a peanutty taste, a Radio 1 phrase about following through and Nigella Lawson describing “two people in the bottom”. Lucie and Matt repeatedly lost their water while Scott looked ahead to the considerably more serious business of Eurovision.
Chris phoned Bangers from elsewhere
Chris was away but still phoned in for Bangers. Caller Paige chose Scott’s Beyoncé selection, “Run the World (Girls)”, over Chris’s Tove Lo choice.
Charlie Sloth and Greg James later joined Real or No Real. Charlie’s haircut was compared with Donald Trump’s, a 45-minute nap at the gym turned out to be genuine and a claim involving Paddy McGuinness and a trademark proved false.
