Beccy returned with unusual items found in local classified adverts.
The feature concentrated on sellers whose wording, photographs or asking prices made the objects more memorable than the products themselves. Scott asked whether each item represented a genuine bargain and whether anybody listening could possibly need it.
The team also discussed the people placing the adverts and tried to reconstruct why the objects had reached the point where they were being sold.
German television
Scott played clips from German television that sounded unusually dramatic or chaotic without their full context.
The team attempted to work out what the presenters and guests were doing from tone of voice, studio noise and occasional recognisable words. Scott encouraged Beccy and Chappers to imitate the pronunciation and supply their own explanations for the scenes.
The humour came from the contrast between the serious television presentation and the team’s deliberately inaccurate interpretation.

The Posh Radio 4 Lady read another collection of emails and texts about the programme.
Listeners commented on features from the first week back, the team’s accents and the strange phrases or characters that had already reappeared after Christmas.
Oh, What’s Occurring?
Beccy and Chappers listened to the beginning of recent Radio 1 and television clips and tried to predict what happened next.
The feature included a street survey about excuses people used to escape phone calls. Answers included needing the toilet, pretending somebody was at the door, claiming a pet was having a heart attack and faking a broken signal.
Another item returned to Pippa’s willingness to help colleagues. She had previously believed Scott when he phoned her mobile and said she had left the same phone in the studio. This time she was sent into nearby sandwich shops looking for the fictional dental expert “Phil McAvity”, asking strangers whether they were the person she had been told to find.
