A Radio 1 colleague performed a conga around central London while chanting a routine called the “Selena Gomezer”.
Only three people joined, and all three were Radio 1 employees who had already been present when the conga left the building.
The performer completed the circuit exhausted, having moved too quickly for passers-by to attach themselves.

People on Stupid Street were asked to name the greatest book ever written.
Answers included The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Victoria Beckham’s autobiography, a Mary Higgins Clark novel whose title and plot the speaker could not remember, and a story described only as women sleeping with their friends’ boyfriends.
Harry Potter was the only answer repeated enough to count as the most popular.
The Colour of Money
The final round counted the elaborate reasons contestants on Chris Tarrant’s The Colour of Money gave for choosing particular coloured machines.
Reasons included a burgundy car, a birthstone, Hull City’s black and amber colours, the song Dreaming of You, a crush on Sienna Miller and the simple desire to go “next door” to fern.
The programme counted nine such explanations.
