Greg James and Glastonbury
Greg James had covered Scott’s programme after attending his first Glastonbury Festival and appeared unable to stop talking about it.
The montage collected references to Lady Gaga, Michael Eavis, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Jason Mraz, festival wristbands, red-button highlights and Greg missing the event after it had ended.
Scott also mocked Zane Lowe for presenting a trip to Lake Como to hear new Muse material as a reluctant sacrifice made entirely for Radio 1 listeners.
Oh, What’s Occurring?
In Oh, What’s Occurring?, Beccy and Chappers predicted the outcome of recorded counting games and public challenges.
The first question asked how often Greg had said “Glastonbury” during two days of programmes. Chappers guessed 212 and Beccy guessed 30. The correct total was 33, giving Beccy the point.
Gemma then asked people on Stupid Street to describe Glastonbury in three words. Answers included “absolutely brilliant”, “milk cows”, comments about bad festival food and “drugs, music, sex” from somebody who had never attended.
Mud appeared once, but there was no dependable single repeated answer matching the contestants’ predictions. Beccy won the game overall.
