Meshuggah’s coffee
Meshuggah were asked how many sugars the band collectively took in their coffee.
Two members drank it without sugar, the drummer took two and the singer took three. The total was five.
Beccy guessed five exactly and won the point.
Def Leppard fans and Werther’s Originals
Radio 1’s “Dan the Rock” approached eight Def Leppard fans shortly before the band performed and offered each person a Werther’s Original.
Most accepted immediately, even though the sweets were being handed out by a stranger at a rock festival.
Seven of the eight accepted one. Some chose the soft-and-chewy version, while one older fan said the sweet was not too strong and tasted “just about right”.
Beccy again predicted seven exactly.
Suicide Silence’s champagne game
Alex from Suicide Silence shook a bottle of sparkling wine and tried to name as many celebrities as possible before the cork popped.
His answers included John Candy, Bill Murray, Henry Winkler, Val Kilmer and Will Ferrell. He also offered France, James and the Giant Peach and a historical schoolmaster named Thomas Jenkins, none of which counted as celebrities.
Only four acceptable names remained after the team checked the answers, although Beccy had initially guessed six.
She still comfortably won the Download special.
