The first performance
Scott said the opening night of Mills: The Musical had gone extremely well.
Part one was being uploaded to the Radio 1 website, although the hotel’s slow internet connection delayed the process. Scott particularly praised John, the actor playing Chappers.
Antony Costa
Former Blue singer Antony Costa visited while appearing in his own Edinburgh musical, Bloodbath.
He described it as a cross between The Rocky Horror Show and High School Musical, with cheerleaders and a character who attracted the girls.
Costa had appeared briefly in the first night of Scott’s musical and said it had been brilliant. The team joked that he was experiencing the normal post-fame week in which a new celebrity should immediately begin attending nightclubs.
A-Team: The Musical
The cast of A-Team: The Musical appeared in character as Hannibal, Face, Murdock and B. A. Baracus.
They explained that the team had always sung around campfires while on the run and had therefore decided to help people through music.
The plot concerned an exotic-animal shop threatened by a villain called Action Jackson. The owner hired the A-Team because she could not afford his protection money.
B. A. refused to fly and the group claimed to have travelled to Edinburgh by boat.
Jack Whitehall
Jack Whitehall discussed his Fringe show and the difficulty of performing comedy to unpredictable audiences.
Scott and Beccy had eaten salmon and potato wedges before the interview and warned Jack that any fish smell in the studio came from them.
The conversation covered audience members leaving performances, reviews and the competitive atmosphere surrounding Edinburgh comedy.
Dear Scott
Listeners asked for photographs of Beccy’s stage entrance and commented on the opening-night footage.

Beccy’s birthday
The programme celebrated Beccy’s birthday with a large chocolate cake and a card made by people from Unofficial Mills.
Joe, the actor playing Scott, led Happy Birthday. Beccy put her face into the cake before Scott revealed the main surprise: the Chippendales.
Several dancers entered while Beccy still had chocolate over her face. Scott said one Chippendale had been provided for each decade of her life.
The dancers promoted their Edinburgh show and threatened to use more oil, while Beccy alternated between embarrassment and delight.
