Hospital Radio Bangor and Scott’s love of voting
Scott confessed that he loved voting in almost any form, from elections to online polls and long street surveys. Given a celebrity Dad of the Year list, he immediately chose Mark Owen, largely because the phrase “Dad of the Year” simply made him think of Mark Owen.
The programme then called Hospital Radio Bangor before the Big Weekend, treating the local station as fellow broadcasting professionals. The friendly conversation with the presenters became a great excuse for Scott to enjoy the sound of a more relaxed radio operation.
Rachel played Oh! What’s Occurring?, where George Sampson appeared as the celebrity subject and was challenged to name famous people called George. Perry Gripp’s sung version of the EastEnders theme also returned, keeping the day’s mix of voting, local radio and internet music gloriously uneven.
