Iyaz spies, exam encouragement and a very short haircut
With Radio 1’s Big Weekend about to arrive in Bangor, Scott spoke to excited local listeners and tried to contain their anticipation for the acts and the weather. He also defended himself against a magazine suggestion that he looked hungover, arguing that sunglasses and shopping bags did not prove anything.
Scott paused for a much kinder moment for listeners in the middle of exams. He told them that revision would be over eventually, encouraged them to keep going and used Iyaz’s “Solo” as a small on-air morale boost.
Beccy had another haircut, prompting Scott to note that her hair was already so short that each appointment appeared to change almost nothing. Her busy day, including tanning, sushi, radio and Marina and the Diamonds, was described as the schedule of a ‘lady that lunches’.
