Scott came home from Eurovision without knowing how to buy milk
Scott returned from Eurovision in Ukraine still struggling with packaging he could not read.
He remembered visiting the home of billionaire Mohammad Zahoor and singer Kamaliya and asking what colour bottle identified ordinary milk. Zahoor could not help because he said he had never been to a shop.
Scott therefore returned from an unusually glamorous Eurovision trip with the practical problem of not knowing which milk to buy.
Lucy and Will became official
Lucy returned to the programme after another trip to Utah to see Will, the Uber driver she had first met while travelling for work.
Will met her at the airport with pizza. Lucy met his mother, went to a theme park and spent six days with him in Las Vegas.
Despite listeners wondering whether a white dress might lead to an impulsive Vegas wedding, there was no ceremony.
There was, however, a proper relationship.
Will told Lucy he did not want either of them seeing other people, and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Their airport goodbye involved around two hours of crying, while Will gave Lucy a tablet so they could continue video dates across the Atlantic.
Music continued running out
Scott and Chris continued their theory that pop was running out of available melodies.
James Arthur, Shawn Mendes and Arctic Monkeys were among the comparisons, alongside Rag’n’Bone Man and Madonna, Biffy Clyro and the Baywatch theme, and Harry Styles with a familiar Catchphrase sound.
Dev joined Real or No Real. Joan Collins supplied one discussion, while Paul McCartney’s appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean turned out to be genuine.
