Ed Westwick, football stickers and Beccy’s crush
Beccy met Ed Westwick, who played Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl, and could barely contain how much she liked him. In trying to make an Oh! What’s Occurring? round happen, she persuaded him to deliver chat-up lines, then found herself stranded in ten minutes of small talk when the internet failed.
The resulting recording was gloriously awkward. Beccy asked whether he liked London, whether he had a girlfriend, what he ate for breakfast and, eventually, whether he liked cheese. Scott replayed every excruciating pause with great pleasure.
Away from Beccy’s crush, listeners compared football-sticker hauls, including the thrill of finding two shiny England and Ivory Coast stickers in one packet. The Posh Radio 4 Lady also read Dear Scott messages, while Scott admitted that his Eurovision outfit had included a smart shirt, tie and jacket but no trousers.
