A huge day at Wembley
Scott and Chris look back on presenting the Teen Hero award at Wembley to Toby and his fellow winner, who have raised money in memory of their friend Aaron. Standing on the Teen Awards stage remains overwhelming, particularly when they look towards the enormous “Hello Wembley” sign at the back of the arena.
Scott also plants a tiny piece of background drama during Kel Spellman’s interview with Shawn Mendes. Knowing the camera points towards them, he pretends to argue with Chris, wags a finger and storms out of shot, leaving careful viewers concerned that a genuine row has taken place.
Halloween becomes Whooo-lloween
Listener Sam and her fiancé are planning a Halloween wedding the following year, but their current party uses the Whooo Game as its theme. Guests must dress as famous faces everybody recognises without always remembering the name.
Her fiancé has sourced Neil Buchanan’s distinctive Art Attack jumper, while another guest will become Mr Motivator. The costumes must be homemade because ordinary fancy-dress shops rarely carry such specific mid-level celebrities.
Rinder considers the after-party
Judge Rinder discusses another ambitious Strictly lift and receives an invitation to Scott’s Halloween gathering. He doubts the timing will work after Saturday’s live show, but becomes more interested when Chris promises to accompany him.
Themed Bangers also begins with “We Were Robbed Week”, giving previously rejected songs another chance. It is the first deliberate theme for the feature and immediately creates the possibility of somebody feeling robbed twice.
