10 June 2025: Will Mellor and Ralf Little play Dad Jokes

Will Mellor and Ralf Little

Will Mellor and Ralf Little joined Scott together, immediately returning to the chemistry audiences remembered from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

They discussed the friendship that had continued after the sitcom and the way viewers still approached them with lines and memories from the programme.

Will reflected on acting, music and his later television work, while Ralf discussed the different route his career had taken through comedy, drama and Death in Paradise.

Scott asked whether the pair had changed as much as the audience who had first watched them as young adults.

The conversation also covered the possibility of revisiting old characters and the risk of returning purely because nostalgia created demand.

Their relaxed interruptions and familiarity made the interview feel like a reunion rather than two separate promotional appearances.

Dad Jokes

Will and Ralf faced each other in Dad Jokes, taking turns to deliver deliberately weak jokes while trying not to laugh.

The humour came as much from their reactions and attempts to sabotage one another as from the punchlines themselves.

Scott acted as referee while both men disputed whether a smile, groan or delayed reaction should count as losing the round.

Regular features

The Easiest Quiz and Birthday Game continued around the joint guest appearance.

The handover revisited the Dad Jokes result and the enduring affection for Will and Ralf as a double act.
