Paparazzi for hire
Scott discussed an American company that allowed customers to experience being famous for a day.
The basic package provided up to 30 minutes of photographers shouting the customer’s name, taking pictures and asking celebrity-style questions.
More expensive packages added a fake bodyguard to push the photographers away and a fake publicist to tell the customer not to answer.

The device was so short that he would have to bend over while using it, leading Chappers to predict back pain.
Promotional testimonials claimed couples had found nearly $10,000 in coins and so much jewellery that one woman did not have enough fingers.

Radio 1’s Big Weekend
Radio 1 announced that its 2009 Big Weekend would take place in Swindon on 9 and 10 May.
The festival would be held at Lydiard Park, with 40,000 free tickets available across the weekend.
The broadcast described the main stage, the In New Music We Trust stage, BBC Introducing and the outdoor Radio 1 stage where DJs would perform.
Scott repeatedly celebrated finally being allowed to say “Swindon” after listeners had guessed locations including Monte Carlo and Amsterdam.

Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon
Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon joined Scott to promote the Gavin & Stacey Comic Relief single.
The recording included the cast performing material connected with Islands in the Stream, alongside extra tracks featuring Bryn and Nessa.
Ruth said she did not fancy James Corden because he was thirteen years younger and felt more like a little brother. A 19-year-old caller disagreed and said she did fancy him.

Entering Number 10
Scott explained that visitors genuinely had to ring the doorbell at 10 Downing Street, despite the door appearing to open automatically on television.
He had cut grooves into the soles of his slippery shoes with scissors and sprayed them with hairspray in an attempt to avoid falling over. The hairspray made him smell unusual and caused the soles to stick.

In Dear Scott, the Posh Radio 4 Lady read emails in an exaggeratedly formal voice before the team discussed them.
Chris from Fox FM in Melbourne corrected the programme for treating Joe Dolce’s Shaddap You Face as anything other than an Australian classic. He said Dolce was born in America but lived in Australia when the record was made and added that he mainly wanted to hear the Posh Radio 4 Lady say its title.

Scott asked eight people on Stupid Street which celebrity they fancied despite feeling that they probably should not.
Answers included Simon Cowell because of his authority and tight trousers, Chris Moyles because he was funny, Jeremy Clarkson because of his “country-ish” aroma, Judi Dench and Matthew Wright.
Simon Cowell was the most frequently mentioned answer.

The Honesty Game
In The Honesty Game, the studio lights were lowered to create a supposed safe zone where personal questions had to be answered honestly and were not meant to be used against anyone afterwards.
